I contracted with Southcross to upgrade my cable based home security system to their wireless offering. I did considerable research before selecting them and their system and my limited experience to date indicates I chose well.
The owner, Doug, visited my home, answered all my technical question, and scheduled an installer. We were pleased with both Doug and the installer. The equipment works as advertised.
I discovered some communications gliches involving my prior service provider, the monitoring center (which serves both companies and others), Southcross and myself when first contacting the monitoring center and testing my system. Doug personally got involved and sorted the issues within 24 hours.

I wanted a company committed to the security business exclusively, and I feel much better about them than I did about my prior provider-a major multi-media communications firm.
